How do Erie Teens React to the Abstinence Message?

Created by Elizabeth Ybanez of McDowell High School. The cartoon appeared in the student magazine called Blue and White Times during the February Valentine's Day issue.

Good for her. I'm sure the majority of students at McDowell took away the same message. Don't have sex because you'll have a baby. Condoms don't work. Hormones are controllable. Teens can overcome their impulse control. Drugs are bad. Study hard. Be all you can be. Listen to your parents. Drive the speed limit. Cheaters never prosper. Alcohol is for adults only.
I actually feel bad for teen moms. Nobody looks as them as the same and they are treated differently. Are they any different? Everybody looks as them as a stomach instead of a helpless teen.
